We’re sure you’re wondering what the fuss is all about – why are we not seeing live football on Kodi anymore?
That’s because it’s not just the games themselves that have been changed.
The new TV Everywhere app has been designed to work with Kodi and other streaming media players, and it’s also updated to include all the live events you need to watch.
This article takes you through the process of changing Kodi to work for you, from installing the new Kodi add-on to setting up your favourite TV channels and more.
How do I set up Kodi?
Kodi is a streaming media player that lets you watch all your favourite sporting events live.
Simply add the Kodi addon to your add-ons section of your Kodi setup.
If you have Kodi installed already, you can just open the add-ins panel and then browse to the Sports section.
Alternatively, you could add it to your account from your home screen.
The Kodi add on is just a simple list of TV channels that you can add to your home TV box.
Once you have added your favourite sports content to Kodi, you’ll need to create a new user account to use it.
This process will be a little different for each user account.
You’ll be prompted for a username and password, then you’ll be able to create your Kodi account.
Once created, you’re now ready to start setting up the new TV channel.
The TV box needs to be set up to stream live TV events, but this is easy too, just follow these steps: Open Kodi Select Add-ons Select the Sports and Events section Select the Live TV Add-on that you want to use Kodi to stream To add a TV channel, select the desired channel in the list of available TV channels Click the green arrow to add the TV channel to your Kodi box Go to the add on section and select the channel You’ll need the correct username and passwords to make your Kodi TV box work correctly If you don’t have a username yet, you will need to enter it at the beginning of the setup process.
Once the TV box is set up, you should be able add a video to the channel using Kodi’s new add-in system.
Just follow the instructions provided by Kodi to set up the channel and add the video.
Once that’s complete, you just need to add a playlist of live events to Kodi’s media player and start watching.
This is easy as well, just click on the Playlist icon in the top right corner of the Kodi home screen and choose your desired channel from the drop-down menu.
If the video you’re watching doesn’t start playback, just hit the Stop button on the top left corner of your screen.
Once Kodi’s player is ready to stream your live TV, you need a few extra things.
You need to install Kodi’s add-Ons, and then you need the proper TV channels to play your live sports.
First, you want Kodi to know where to find the TV channels you want, which is done by searching for a channel by name.
Once a channel is found, Kodi will automatically download the appropriate add-ON and add it directly to Kodi.
Kodi will then stream the channel in its default settings.
You can also add your favourite channels and playlists to Kodi by going to Add-On Settings and choosing Add-ONS.
You’re ready to add any additional channels and content to your TV box – and watch your favourite events live!
When you’re done watching, just press the Play button on your Kodi device and you’ll see the channels and add-ONS list on your TV.
If any of the channels are missing, Kodi can’t find them.
If that’s the case, simply restart Kodi, and you should see your favourite live sports content back in Kodi’s list.
If Kodi’s Add-ONs and channels are still missing, you may need to reinstall Kodi to fix the problem.
If all is fine, Kodi should now be able find the missing channels and channels.
The process is very similar for any other TV channels in your home.
After a couple of days of waiting, Kodi’s channels and Add-ONES list should be complete.
You may be surprised to see some of your favourite television channels missing from Kodi.
For example, if you only have a few channels that have a lot of live sporting content, then adding more channels to Kodi might not be the right solution.
If this is the case and you’re not happy with the way Kodi is handling your channels and TV shows, you might want to give it a look.
How to add TV channels from Kodi’s Media Player to Kodi TV When you’ve added any of your channels to your television box, Kodi needs to know what TV channels are available in your area to stream.
If it’s missing, then it may not be able in Kodi to find all the channels it needs to play live sports in your neighbourhood.
If, however, you have a ton of channels that can be streamed live in your region
