“Fecal contamination of foodservice food may lead to a variety of serious health consequences, including, but not limited to, severe illness, death, and injury,” the agency stated in the statement, which was provided to Breitbart News.
In addition to taking action against the foodservice companies, “the FDA is also pursuing additional investigations into the individuals and companies that knowingly provided the foodservices facilities with feces,” the FDA said. “
The FDA continues to evaluate and takes action against any company that fails to comply with the law.”

The FDA said the investigation into the feces at the Charlieras facility began in late April 2016.
“As of today,” the Feds stated in their statement, “FHS inspectors were unable to determine the cause of the contamination.
The fecal contamination was discovered on February 12, 2017.
The FHS is continuing to assess the situation and will take additional actions if necessary.”
